Denver
I've only been in Denver less then 6 months and to be really honest I was nervous about the food here, especially coming from Ny. I scour the internet daily for recs and have so many spots saved and the biggest hit list. I really have had some high expectations with big misses but its trial and error baby. These are my top few so far. So excited to keep exploring and eat my way through this city, will definitely be updating this as time goes on. If you're in Denver, and you're reading this and you have other recs pls pls pls let me know <3

01
Uchi
Sushi is probably my second favorite food group and I went to Uchi for the first time in Austin last year and so I was excited to find out there was one 5 mins away from me. It's a swanky little spot with a great selection of unique sashimi. Fish is pretty fresh, waiters are super knowledgable, and the hot and cold tastings are equally good. (Uchi)
02
Tacos, Tequila & Whiskey
These are the best tacos I've had so far in the denver. i live for a queso taco and their cotija plancha one is excellent. The green salsa here is very good and so was the camarones taco i had. everyone else i was with also loved what they ordered. def recommend this one and adding it to your list for bringing visitors. (TTW)

03
Daughter Thai
We had the first edition of our dinner club here and it was a perfect choice. From the first bite i had, i knew it was going to be very good. They don't have green curry which is my fav but Pad thai made up for it. beware though, i love spicy and spicy here made me sweat. (Daughter)
04
Izakaya Den
fav sushi here so far. The space is cool and they fly their fish in fresh every day from japan. Everything i had was perfect, especially miso black cod and crispy rice tuna. i also tried uni here for only the second time ever and didn't hate it. 12/10 will definitely be going back very soon. (Izakaya)

05
Chez Maggy
hmm yum, i still think about this brunch. Michelin starred french chef in a hotel which i usually dont love but they have some cool lounge spaces around which would be fun to hangout and have a drink. chilaquiles and french toast were both so good (+ bottomless). I've also heard that their dinner here is really good, so i want to try. (Chez Maggy)
06
Work and Class
I went here last year and it was one of the first meals that gave me hope for Denver. delicious jalapeno cornbread and empanadas. and usually i hate anything smoked but the smoked gouda mac and cheese was really delicious. this is comfort food (Work & Class)

07
The Greenwich
great date spot, delicious pizza, cool vibes, fun bar area. the gem salad here so flavorful with one of the best green goddess dressings i've had. we had the pesto burrata pizza. great happy hour too. (Greenwich)
08
Himchuli
Found this spot with my dad when hunting for indian food. It's Indian + Nepalese and their Highlands location has the sweetest owners. Pakoras and naan is really good and i ordered this for delivery last week and it tasted just as delicious. (Himchuli)

09
The Bindery
Went here for brunch with a new friend and i can't wait to come back for dinner. The space is light and bright and the menu is great. If you know me, you know i love dutch baby and the one here is soo good (but you HAVE to share with literally 4 people it's so huge). (Bindery)
10
The Plimoth
Farm to table little seasonal neighborhood eatery. I think in the summer the patio will be adorable. i had a cauliflower gratin here that was life changing, like actually so good and honestly i think i preferred the tougher bite of it to the regular potato kind. (Plimoth)

11
Restaurant Olivia
one of my fav meals so far here, i've had so many pasta misses that came so highly recommended (im looking at you lo stella) but this was so good. incredible service, adorable interior, delicious dessert. they do have a tasting menu but honestly i don't think it's necessary (Restaurant Olivia)
12
Safta
This was another one of my early meals that gave me faith in Denver, Again, delicious hummus fluffy pita and the crispy eggplant i had was one of the best eggplant dishes i've ever had. definitely worth going to. (Safta)
