(Aspen+ Aptos)
Ooo la la already 3 months in. Took a quick trip home in Feb and had a quick weekend in Aspen but otherwise have mostly been in Denver all of March and honestly it’s felt so good to get in my routine and get to watch spring coming and blooming. Had some really lucky sunny park days and then some random snow days.
I’m really trying to block all of my travel so that I can be here for June and July and enjoy beautiful Colorado summer I’m so excited yay!!
.
The vibe:

Spring, really rn the vibe is spring.
Doing:
Flew home to surprise my dad for his birthday <3 spent a couple days at the beach with my mom <3 played with my puppy <3 i just feel my soul filled up everytime i go home and see my family and now that i’m sitting here typing this i miss them already :(
We had a wonderful St Patricks party (don’t worry I’m literally planning for the garden this weekend, dirt patch will be gone soon)

Wearing:
I wanted to hate aspen but i absolutely loved it. The vibes there are just so high and fun and everyones in a good mood. Its like the Vegas of the rockies. We were there for a music festival (Love u dom dolla) so i feel like we got to be a little more silly with the fits but so fun to wear our big fur coats and i already cant wait to go back again soon.

Watching:
BINGED girls. This show is so incredible i can’t believe i had never watched it before, every character is so insufferable and you love them because you hate them. Literally as soon as I finished watching I started watching again. this makes me want to become a real writer like hannah (just how like watching SATC made me want to start this blog)
Also started Desperate Housewives, I was really hooked for a couple days and then was over it but maybe I’ll give it another go after this.
Also, obviously new season of Love on the Spectrum. One of my favorite shows of all time <3
Eating:
I’m recommitting to finding more good spots to go eat, I feel like I was kinda in a rut for a second and just going back to the same places but I’m re-instituting dinner club and also Saturday patio lunch.
Mister Oso: wanted to try this place since I moved here and finally made it. Honestly incredible, the crudo was one of my new top bites in Denver and the cauliflower tacos were so flavorful and spicy.
Cuba Cuba: stopped in here for a quick bite before an event, yucca fries 10/10 one of my fav foods, definitely want to come back to try the full menu. Vibes are so cute it’s like in a house and drinks are delicious
Nana’s Dumplings: Came highly recommended, cool vibe inside for sure, not like blown away by the food but maybe my expectations were too high
Aloy Thai: I’ve uber eats from here before but it was much better in person. This thai ice tea cured my hangover.
Reading:
Slowing down a little on reading bc I’ve been busy but have a big trip coming up so I’m sure I’ll catch up on a lot.
Circe (again, my mom just gives me the best books) if you liked Percy Jackson as a kid then i HIGHLY recommend this one. So well written, page turner and I can’t wait to read more Madeline Miller.
Currently in the middle of The Secret History, it started slow but it's getting better.

Listening:
I can’t stop listening to my daylist. I’ll start screenshotting some of the names and putting them here but its been so nice bc i feel like i used to have suuch good music and then i really fell off for years and now spotify catches my vibe perfectly and shows me brand new songs all the time. Obsessed thank u spotify.
Hasta la vista xx talk soon
